Focused service at its finest allows Aphrodite Oysters to perfect seafood raw bars at any celebration. We often service the cocktail hour prior to dinner or we service all of the food for smaller weddings. If we are not providing all of your catering needs, we will happily work in conjunction with your full service caterer of choice for your wedding reception meal or we are one of a few specialized food truck caterers servicing your big day. It is your day and the world is your oyster, seriously! Our oyster shuckers are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The raw bar ice display is luxurious and a culinary experience you and your guests will not forget.
If you prefer, we also offer Floating Shucker service that will mingle amongst your guests while providing personalized hand-shucking service. There are many ways to incorporate oysters and we look forward to partnering with you on creating a memorable and unique culinary addition to your wedding. Beyond sourcing the freshest oysters, we also hand-cut sashimi sushi live, in front of your guests! The sashimi fish is then dressed with lime zest, orange-chili salt, and a ponzu sauce, then placed on the ice raw bar. Differing display photos are below.
Why Aphrodite?! She is the Greek goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, fertility, and protectress of sailors. She is said to of been born from the sea-foam and floated ashore on a giant shell, thus Aphrodite is represented by the oyster shell and the perfect choice as your wedding caterer!
Cheese and Charcuterie Tables
Why settle for a platter when you can have an entire table dedicated to delicious cheeses, charcuterie, breads, fruits, nuts, pickled vegetables, and so much more! You may add-on this graving table service to any oyster service starting at only $295. If you want to skip the oysters and still offer some of our seafood options, you may do that as well.
